Sharon has been taking care of our dogs since my son was born 4 years ago. Through the four years she has been by our side as we lost two of our beloved dogs to disease and old age. She has been a blessing to our family and we consider her our family.

I've used four different pet sitters in Long Beach and have not received such great, reliable and caring service as I have from Sharon.
I have two 17 year old cats that need multiple medications twice a day. Sharon was able to bond with them quickly and gain their trust more than any other pet sitter I have had. Sharon's judgment is keen and she can tell when one of my cats isn't quite right. Recently I was away for two weeks and one of my cats needed medical attention and Sharon took him to the vet at the perfect time. Sharon also checks with me if their meds change in between visits and makes sure to get all the details.
It wouldn't be easy to leave my high maintenance kitties with anybody and with Sharon I know she can handle the medical emergencies. It’s easy to see how passionate she is about her work and with her own pets medical needs, I understand why she loves what she does.

We moved from Chicago recently with our three dogs and three birds and needed a trustworthy, dependable pet sitter to care for our "family" when we traveled.

I am sure there is not enough space here for me to fully express how I feel about Sharon/Fur Their Sake.
My then, 14 year old Lab, was challenged with special needs that come with an elderly dog and it became too much for her regular sitter. There are only a couple of people that I've ever entrusted to care for my dog even when she was fully healthy. So this was a big step.
After meeting with Sharon, I felt comfortable with her, her love of animals and her special skill set particular to elder animals.
She exceeded expectations in every way. Not only in her care of my dog, but in her willingness to adjust to schedule changes and be there when needed without sacrificing her commitments to other clients.
Sharon was patient and understanding, knowledgeable and someone that I cannot recommend enough. I can't imagine that there is anyone out there doing this work that can do it any better. .
